How does participating in the Department of Education’s whitelisting competition help kids?

Participating in the Ministry of Education’s White List competition has several benefits for children:

– Cultivate children’s interest and literacy in science and technology. Robotics programming is a very comprehensive discipline that involves knowledge and skills in many fields such as maths, physics, electronics, and computers. By participating in competitions related to robot programming, children can learn this knowledge and skills, improve their scientific and technological literacy and logical thinking ability, as well as cultivate their interest in and love for science and technology, laying a solid foundation for their future learning and development.

– Cultivate children’s innovative spirit and practical ability. Robot programming-related competitions require children to design and write their own programs to control robots to complete various tasks according to different topics and requirements. These tasks range from basic actions and functions to complex scenarios and problems. Children need to use their imagination and creativity to solve various problems and challenges, showing their innovative and practical abilities.

– Cultivate children’s teamwork and communication skills. Many competitions related to robot programming are team competitions, where each team consists of several students working together to complete a project or a task. In this process, children need to collaborate with each other, divide the work, learn from each other, help each other, improve their teamwork and communication skills, and also make some like-minded friends to expand their social circle.
