Chinese New Year is the most important festival for all chinese people. During this period, family members will get together to celebrate this holiday. Before the New Year’s Day, peple will do some cleaning at home to get rid of the bad fortune and import good fortune. On the new year’s day, all people will dress up their new clothes, every household will paste chinese couplets on the door. The most important part on this day is the dinner. It is really a big meal. On the table, you will find many delicious food such as dumplings, fish, chicken meat, braised pork meat, glutinous cakes, hot pot and so on.   After the dinner, all family members will snuggle up on the couch to watch Chinese Spring Festival Gala till the midnight.
